Oh come on!  Flynn for Hayward was a lock

We must have something against good ball users

Trust in Voss mate.  :-X

Match committee is more than just voss.

If we somehow get a win out of it maybe he gets some credit?
Stay of execution maybe, as I said previously a 4 quarter effort would probably suffice to appease the masses.
Collingwood game could be the pivotal game given ladder position, form etc doesn't mean
anything and both teams usually put on a good show.

Wonder if Kemp is going to spend time back given the line up and Crows' height
Hudson OK is a ??? Selection.  We look a runner short as well.
DrE is no more... you ok with that harmonica man?

Wonder what Flynn Young has to do. Thought he was obvious to bring  in for Haywood.

We havent coached the ability to hit a target out of him yet so he gets a game until he masters the curnow-ver.

In all seriousness im happier not ruining his confidence by exposing him to our seniors.

Unless he's a late in, I would have preferred Young playing in the VFL and keeping the momentum going.

Are we allergic to midfielders?

We lost lord....and didnt replace him.
We drop hewett....and dont replace him.

Both are negative....which we need.
Both are slow, i get it.

But surely we need to bring in other midfielders?

Also getting taller and slower with the other ins, which i cant think is a good thing.

Not really sure what the plan is or whether it will work.....but at least we appear to be trying 'something.'

Trust in Voss mate.  :-X

We have a kid who is in great form in the 2nds and has some leg speed and goal sense that deserved a spot in a underperforming team but no the geniuses at PP recall a slow lumbering tall in HOK that has not exactly set the world on fire at either level

We are so slow across the ground and again do SFA to address it except of course dropping our reigning B & F winner.

We are a shambles on all levels

Crows by 10 plus.

That's 10 goals? Isn't it?
I mean we are playing in Adelaide against the Cows
2025... Moir of the same to come

Wet night in Adelaide... so...
We replace a suspended quickish half forward with an out of form tall... leaving out a smart, in-form, half forward. How can anyone not see the logic in that  ::)
We replace a concussed Weiters with an aging, struggling for form intercept backman.
We replace Hewett with Williams, I guess, which makes some sense.

The AFL CEO has a little joke at our expense when asked to pick the  winner of tonight's game.

"I think Carlton will be in front at half time...then we'll see what happens."

Hewett was dropped for his last quarter efforts on LDU I believe.

Harsh call, hopefully it doesn’t backfire resulting in a poor performance from the group, can’t see a good result coming from tonight.
The Ox is slow but I'm running out of patience.

I've said similar so no issues there.

However i must point out I've issue.
Who do you want to bring in to cover weitering? Cupboard is not only bare, its pencilled in as backup FB.

Dean is out.
Weitering is out
Ofarrell is out.
Young is in
Derkson is in.

Kenp is in
Mcgovern is in
Mckay is in
Okeefe is in

Only tall not playing is reidy the ruck.

So not sure what you are hoping for.

I'd send both Kemp and McGovern back, and move Derksen forward  to start the game.
Bit of backline experience in the absence of Weitering.
If it's not working we can always switch it up.

Rely on the smalls for most of the scoring...which if it's wet will probably be the case anyway.
Don't worry about Byrnes education tonight...he stays at the feet of the resting ruckmen whose instruction will be to bring it to ground.

There was some talk around that Pittonet had a splint on his hand at the airport.
It may not be him going out, but I just find it hard to believe that one of the emergencies won't play.
