VFL Rd 7 2026 Carlton vs Casey at Casey

Saturday morning at 10:00 at Casey.
Casey are 17th at the moment and have struggled. I'm a bit surprised, as we haven't played Brisbane yet (who are also struggling).

Our lineup is not available yet, but the Emergencies may well play.

[1] By the look of our Interchange bench, I'd say that at least one, maybe all three, of our Emergencies will NOT be playing.
There are 17 listed players named, 14 or 15 will probably play.
[2] Our structure issues: our smallest player, Talor Byrne, is named at CHF. I know it is probably not where he will line up, but it does show the extreme lack of taller options on our list at the moment.
[3] I hope Cody Walker plays. He was impressive last week.
[4] Still no Lucas C. Obvious his lacerated kidney is a serious injury.

If we take all 3 emergencies to Brisbane, there's little chance they could play the next day considering the 10am start, and tonight's game not finishing until late! Surely they'd only take one emergency.
Only our ruthless best, from Board to bootstudders will get us no. 17

Ison is definitely in Brisbane, saw him warming up on the ground. Not sure about the others.
