Port are doing the best to hand the game to us on a platter but we are so terrible we can demolish them.

I see your point but on the other hand I'll take just finishing on well in the last qtr after being in front all game as it is where we normally blow it. Will do our young blokes the world of good.

I’m no tactical genius, but why don’t port put Horne Francis where the ball is?  Good things happen when he has it.  Wasted at half forward

Very apt tonight.

Port are have been their own worst enemy i reckon.

There has been some flashes of brillianace from them. Streaking through the midfield, linking up with forward handballs, after forward handballs, delivering the last handball ready for the shot on goal from 30......fumbled, turnover.

Similar to us most weeks (and indeed the 2nd half tonight as well). Thankfully our kicking boots were very much on in the 1st half and kept us in front.

Wonderful effort by the boys. Well done to all concerned. A little more accuracy on goal would’ve been the cherry on top.

We played against Yartiapuulti apparently, not Port....lol

Not sure how we kick so well at goal for 50 minutes then kicking at goal really poorly after that. Polar opposite. After we got our first 8 we then kicked 5.14 for the rest of the game. We could have won that by 70. I'm just happy to have a decent win and finish on rather than chuck it away when in front. Helps so much.

Couldn't put them away, but a win is a win is a win!

Carlton: 13 - 14 - 92
We kicked 5 - 14 after our start!
Port Adelaide: 8 - 10 - 58

When they kicked 3 in a row, I was worried. But we really responded after that. A pity we can't kick straight.

Cripps: 31 possessions, 8 clearances, 5 tackles and goal.
Sam Walsh: 28 possessions, 3 clearances, 2 tackles and a goal.
Jagga Smith: 27 possessions, 4 clearances and 1 tackle.
George Hewett: 26 possessions, 4 clearances, 3 tackles and goal.
Ollie Florent: 26 possessions, 1 clearance, 3 tackles.
Billy Wilson: 22 possessions, 1 tackle - this is the only thing that worries me about Billy. I want to see him taking guys down!
Bic Newman: 21 disposals, 3 tackles.

Port had 2 guys doing all the lifting, Horne-Francis & Butters. If it wasn't them, it was nobody.
We had a real team performance. When one guy goes quiet two more stood up.
