If I could change 2 or 3 things about the way we play:
1. Halve the height of our field kicks. If it means shortening the kick so be it.
2. EVERY player to a man MUST charge toward the man with the footy and apply pressure. No corralling, no easy disposals.
3. Stop HBing to player under immense pressure. Wear a tackle or Look for a kick instead.

This game is being played at a frenetic pace and a number of our players are not accustomed to that level of intensity resulting in marginal errors like missed handball targets etc.

Furthermore, our guys are taking the game on regardless of the circumstances which is not a bad thing but there has been some costs. Walsh has gone back to his old ways of trying to break through the first, second & third tackle and is getting caught instead of doing the team orientated and instinctive thing and dishing off the first handpass.

Acres looks a little underdone and fumbling beaue of the pace of the game too. McGovern, who has been reasonable in the past fortnight, is beng found out tonight against a much tighter & tougher opposition. I'm not a fan of Flynn Young at all but he's giving it a really fair go tonight, just a half a step off the pace of the game which is hurting. 

We really had our chances in that quarter, the poor kicking for goal cost us dearly though.

Just can't put the cue in the rack in the second half, I'm not expecting us to win here but I definitely want to see us fight it out right to the end.

I think once the game opens up more they will run over us.

Geez, when H is in the ruck or on the bench, there ain’t much to kick to in fwd 50.   Kicking to kemp in a 2on 1 isn’t a recipe for success

I think Geelong will be the best side we play all year. With 6 blokes under 12 games, which is a good thing for us longer term, but might sting us tonight. But that's ok.
