Can't stop the oppositions run of goals.
Must have.
Its the only 'logical' conclusion.

Forward line is a rabble thus far.

Midfield have forgotten how to kick, again, so not helping our forward line.

Backline is clearing the ball well enough. Losing it through the midfield.
Getting beaten at stoppages, contested ball and clearances.

We dont have a 'plan b'

11 players wearing a carlton jumper yet to lay a tackle.

The other 12 have only managed 16 tackles between them.

Thats on track for a mere 32 tackles for the game.

Where has our relentless pressure gone??

We are lucky they have Ben McKay else we would been 5 or 6 goals down...

Clearances for Carlton....
Pittonet - 4
McKay - 3

Rest of the team - 9.

Walsh - 0 clearances, 0 tackles
Cripps - 0 clearances, 1 tackle

Mids need to lift big time.

What we are seeing is the mental side of game and how poor we are at aspects of it. Ess hasn't been able to beat an egg so we should have come out breathing fire, instead we come out looking tired, disinterested, fumbly, unable to stick a tackle and letting a young inexperienced side beat you at your game. I expected this to happen and I am sure Fraser would have known the also. His challenge this week would have been how fix or coach it. Unfortanately, as Hinkley said, its not something that should need to be coached but at Carlton you need to.
2021-Pi$$ or get off the pot
2022- Real Deal or more of the same? 0.6%
2023- "Raise the Standard" - M. Voss Another year wasted Bar Set
2024-Back to the drawing boardNo excuses, its time
2025-Carlton can win the 2025 AFL Premiership

I would've said Dean probably hasn't been beaten yet.
Even winning a free there.

Sam Walsh with a shoulder.

The one he injured....what last week or the week before?

Seems we haven't learned by playing injured players.
