I certainly didn't think that Acres would lose his spot ... and I'd rather have his size, strength and ability to impact contests at both ends of the ground.

Vossy must have snuck back into the match committee  ::)

Acres has been a big inclusion since he was reheated and brought back into the team and his best is very good but you have to manage him and plan the games he plays and doesnt play imho. I would have rested him this week too....

I thought he was caught out a few times running to receive, when I made my post match comments I talked about some bad habits seeming to sneak back in, and he was one of the players I was thinking about.

We don't need a bloke Acres size roving packs looking for soft possessions, his first week back he was very good, and a key feature of the team over the last few weeks has been when you have to go you go, running around the traffic isn't.

OH was good in the VFL, so he's a no brainer as a swap. I'm a bit surprised one of the kids hasn't bene given a rest, but maybe Fraser accepts the Nthmond leg speed will trouble us, and that could be another reason Acres and OH swapped. OH isn't much faster but he is faster.

Blake Acres had a poor match last week IMO.
He was one of 3 lowest rated players at half time (both teams). He improved in the second half, but..
Also, I'm not worried about Lynch this time. Remember the first time we fell apart in the 2nd half and there was little pressure on the Richmond ball carriers. That won't happen this time. Carlton by 30+

I reckon Cerra is lucky too...doesn't chase too hard when he isn't going to get the pill.

[1] I think Acres is a bit stiff. He was ordinary early last week, but decent afterwards. And not even mentioned as an Emergency?
Yes, Ollie H played pretty well in the 2's, but ...

[2] Jack ison is a little lucky. He was down last week.

Ollie doesn’t randomly kick the ball out on the full but the Sheriff’s disposal has been pretty good since his recall.

Ollie can certainly cover the ground but I’d much prefer Acres doing the same while bringing physicality and having an impact.
