Jim Park Voting AFL Rd 20 2026 Carlton vs Gold Coast

Voting is as usual: you have 15 votes to award pretty much as you will, with the following provisos:
[1] 15 votes in total, no more, no less.
[2] No more than 10 votes for any one player (even Sam Walsh or Patrick Cripps)
[3] Three players at least must get a mention.
[4] A grade for the game, A+ (what I want to see) to F-.

Jagga's best game by some margin, not just possessions but decisions and use, and great to finally see Byrne getting some reward for effort.

Coming back after 2 demoralizing losses against a team with a lot more raw talent than we have, I was pleased that we prevailed after being headed each quarter.

[1.5]   George Hewett:   George got 25 possessions and totally blanketed the GC Captain after half time.
[1]   Ollie Florent:      A great rebounding game with 25 possessions.
[1]   Nick Haynes:      Like a fine wine, Nick is flying at the moment. He was huge in defence. 13 marks!
[1]   Billy Wilson:      Another excellent game from Billy, keeping his opponent down while getting 10 marks a load of ball.
[0.5]   Cooper Lord:      A very solid game from Lord.
[0.5]   Ben Ainsworth:   Ainsworth was another superb contributor.
[0.5]   Will Hayward:      3 goals, clutch marks, another strong game from Hayward.
[0.5]   Lachie Cowan:   Impassable in the air. Really powerful in defence.
[0.5]   Frankie Evans:   Frankie got some reward this time, which hasn’t always happened this year.

Honourable Mentions:
Wade Derksen:      Only misses votes because of his turnovers. His marking was excellent.
Lewis Young:         A strong game from Young, showing confidence we rarely see.
Adam Cerra:         A strong game from Cerra, with 20+ possessions. Would get votes any other week.
Blake Acres:         Another who really deserved a mention. Strong on his wing and not many turnovers.
Matthew Cottrell:      Cottrell also deserves votes for keeping Rioli totally out of the game while getting the ball himself.

I really needed 30 votes this week. Such is life, but I do feel I'm not rewarding players enough.
