Literally same infringement seen differently depending on team colours 🙄

However we looked looked a bit of a rabble after half time.

Saw Ollie get HOTB 3 times in that second half, trying to run thru or outrun. Not good.

When they got close at the end of the third we were never going to win kicking into that breeze.
One of our kicks went up and almost came back the other way.

I wouldn't worry too much about Weitering it was more about just getting through the game.

Camporeale may have blown his chances of a game this year depending on the extent of that injury.
He has ability. I'd like to see both him and Lucas given another year. But we'll wait and see.

O'Keefe....He will be very lucky to stay on the list. One kick, even for a goal and one handball at VFL level is nowhere near it.
Riley didn't have a big influence either but he's well ahead of HOK

For the opposition-Alix Tauru has earned himself a bit of a bad rep with suspension, but gee he can take a grab.

In a windy game where you only get 2 qtrs to properly do something you have to kick straight when you have the wind or you are really behind the 8 ball. Think we kicked 2.7 in the 3rd qtr from what I was reading somewhere. That really hurts as it is hard to sort the next qtr.

High wind game and it got stronger as the game progressed, not much to talk about, kicking for goal cost us, we generated plenty of opportunities and burnt them.

Walker and Weitering probably our two best, not much effective system from the team this week, partly an issue of the conditions but certainly team changes contributed. In those sorts of conditions you need everyone in perfect sync, half a step away r half of a second late and it's amplified by the wind.

HOKs 1 kick came off the ground from the goal square after a handy tap on from Ison.

Wasn't really the conditions for a big man, but it wasn't a hurricane out there so should've managed more than he did.

The great white hope once Charlie left, now heading for the delist pile at record speed.
We really need to focus on this area in the off-season.

HOK is gone, Reidy and even Riley are probably in front of him.

That was a disappointing loss but you have to play conditions.  Kicking high balls and playing from behind when kicking against the wind is never going to get it done.

Reidy had a great game, despite the conditions, but an AFL standard ruckman should dominate at that level.  If I heard the commentators correctly, Reidy led the field with ground ball gets and that's certainly a point of difference with our other ruckmen.  However, he didn't take a single mark and we certainly needed a marking target when we went down the line.

Weiters was OK and should be a lot better for the run.  I think the MC will be tempted to pick him for the Bulldogs but I'd give him another run in the Magoos, unless he trains the house down this week.

I liked the energy, attack on the footy and smarts that Moir and Ison showed but they need to impact the scoreboard.  Young was busy early but his kicking for goal was poor and he faded out of the game.

Walker and the Camporeales were good and Hollands wasn't bad but his lack of awareness cost us.  Skull had a day he'd rather forget.

Sadly, I think Zac Williams may have played his last game in navy blue.

In fairness it was strong gusts which in many ways is worse than a steady strong breeze.

A steady breeze is a skill issue, gusts reduce the contests to luck. Having said that, I thought we won enough contests, we just wasted the effort.
