AFL Rd 20 2026 Post Game Prognostications Carlton vs St. Kilda at Marvel

All ready for tomorrow night.

I am not a fan of Sunday night games, not when I have to work the next day, but the AFL have been ignoring me for years. I lived in Charlton for 7 years and Bendigo for 17 and know all too well that Sunday night and weeknights just don't work well. I could never get to such games and can't get to Thursday nights as a rule. But the AFL ignore people like me: TV pays the bills.

its easier to be best on ground when everyone else does the work too, but not only was his game impressive to watch the stats sheet back it up.

2 goal assists.

Ollie florent and pittonet were huge too.  Cripps had one of his better games for the year, and everyone worked hard. 

Very impressive victory and the aints had no answers.

Apparently the aints had 2 big recruits pre season, a full back and a ruck,  not sure of their names.   Anyone notice them tonight?   Couple and a half mill a year well spent

You have to be happy with that. Although to be fair, the Saints were hamstrung without Nas. Clarkson stated in his press conference after the Saints game that their game plan is built around him.

Good win, I was nervous for some reason at 3/4 time, conditioning I guess. Just a solid team effort, everyone had a lick of the ice cream as they say these days. Pitto was huge, as was Frankie. Some of his kicking was sublime.
Onto next week, WB at Marvel.

Garry made an early comment about Frankie being called “wizard” around the club, and the other commentators scoffed at him.  So, he kept doubling down on it,   As Frankie kept killing it, Gary kept going back to the well and saying how good Frankie was

Then Johnno brown mentioned how Taylor Byrne was a typical tough koroit kid.  The more he did, the more johhno got excited.  

They were ok on Fraser as well

It’s amazing that once our playing style is opened up, all of a sudden our blokes have a bit of confidence and aren’t the worst kicks of all time.   So fun to see them playing on, taking chances and hitting targets

The TV director was absolutely crap - so many shots of coaches and the benches and actually missed some of the live action.

Need to watch the whole game again, but I am so happy we beat this band of flogs. How's that bed you made Ross?? Is it comfy or a bit lumpy like the farkin lumps on your head. What about you Andrew you turd burger. We had more free kicks than you this week. Time to bitch and moan no doubt. Putrid club that's been propped up by the VFL/AFL since it's existence. Crash and burn you ferals. I only wish I could've been there. This one means more to me than any other win this year. TDK and Jack, money well spent. Nas should ask for a pay rise next year if he's to run around with these phoney's. Phew, glad I got that out of my system.
