I swapped TVs to my bedroom for the second half. When it first switched on it was on channel 7 which lasted about 2 minutes till I turned Kayo on. I don't know who is worse BT or Cornes?
BT is terrible.
2022- Real Deal or more of the same? 0.6%
2023- "Raise the Standard" - M. Voss Another year wasted Bar Set
2024-Back to the drawing boardNo excuses, its time
2025-Carlton can win the 2025 AFL Premiership
2026-Slow start, we can kick after all, why not?

BT is definitely worse, because he has an anti carlton bias to him.  Kane, whilst he is a bit of a flog, does it to sensationalise and be controversial and is more unilateral about it.

Correct me of im wrong but we used to have curtain raisers of the vfl teams back on the day. Probably the same time that fossil BT was playing? How did he manage to not get injured because he couldnt warm up on the ground???

It's a strange feeling when an 8-goal win is greeted with 'meh, we did what we had to do'.....

After the masterclass against Brisbane, the next week was always going to be somewhat of an anti-climax.

I think the most pleasing aspect of the win last night was it was a very even performance.  Apart from Frankie who was clearly our best, the rest did their bit.  We were never really challenged after the 10-minute mark of the second quarter, and controlled how the game was played.

I will mention one thing that is very pleasing - big H has well and truly got his kicking mojo back.  I was directly behind the set shot from the boundary line in the 3rd quarter, and that is the best kick I have ever seen him produce.

Such a change in this team from what we saw 12 weeks ago.  Almost unrecognisable.  As for the Saints buidling their entire game around NAS, we've been doing it with Crippa for many years, and a one-man gameplan is never going to work.

One last point, I watched the 2nds on CH 7 earlier in the day.  The team included Weitering, Boyd, Saad, Williams, Ollie Hollands, Fogarty, Moir, O'Keefe, Flynn Young - and they were all out-shone by Cody Walker.

Weiters will come back in, but the others?   My, how we have moved onwards......
This is now the longest premiership drought in the history of the Carlton Football Club - more evidence of climate change?

I think half the job was done for us when Nas went down.

TDK, Ryan, Hill, Wood.....they were the walking wounded.

Reality was, 1 point win or 100 point win....mattered little. Just needed the win

I watched it too - i thought F Young was pretty good but for missing some goals (terrible conditions though!) and i felt for Ollie but he got run down 3 times! It was like he had no awareness or thought he could break through them? That was weird and I wonder if he is finishing up (no contract signed I believe…?) - maybe he and his family would like a fresh start.

Bruce became a little too… unnecessarily flamboyant might be the word? And it became annoying.

Cornes is a bit of a nitpicker but at least he does his research and seems to be prepared.  BT is just living off his reputation and imo isn’t giving much to the viewer in terms of insight, knowledge or even generally a laugh.
