We have won 12 qtrs in a row. Our all time record is 13.
I feel like I'm in no mans land at the minute. All these wins, number of qtrs won, wild card position etc, I dont know whether to accept it, believe it, doubt it, this is all newish to me. Being so very well conditioned to losses, misses, turnovers, slipped tackles, fumbles, silly 50s, etc, I really dont what to think. Enjoy it for however long it lasts I guess. I dont want it end though.

As far as Im concerned, the season started 12 games ago and we are right up there with the form teams in the comp.

Anything can happen and probably will.
2022- Real Deal or more of the same? 0.6%
2023- "Raise the Standard" - M. Voss Another year wasted Bar Set
2024-Back to the drawing boardNo excuses, its time
2025-Carlton can win the 2025 AFL Premiership
2026-Slow start, we can kick after all, why not?

I feel the same. Only relaxed during the game in the 4th quarter.  We have had some terrible losses and we are scarred.  I still am
Not 100% but definitely think having an injection of some harder at it personalities has really helped with the yips.

And how interesting that it was Higgins that killed us in that last game a few years ago, last night he was missing it all!

Easy to think that its another false dawn, we're conditioned to them. Wasn't so long ago that the list was full of holes and we were a laughing stock. The carlton roller coaster ride. I'll never get off.

I relaxed once we got to over 30 points in front.  In the end weirdly disappointed that we didn't win by over 50.  They are playing exciting and at times controlled football - great to watch.

Some of the kicking was remarkable (maybe that's what happens when you practice it at training), as was the general poise.

Someone asked about Acres game - it is an interesting question.  When he was playing at his peak, an absolute running machine and would get us out of trouble in defence regularly, then bob up for a goal or two - and it really stood out.  Now, he has plenty for company in the running and effort department, so doesn't stand out as much.  This is a good thing.  Don't think that he is playing badly.  Still a strong mark, still waiting for the kick OOF, still running heaps, but not as prolific.

I am a bit confused - do we want to win (yes), but we also want it easier to get CW, so we don't want to win...always want to win - although that wasn't really the conversation when we were 1-8.

Battling for 10th spot is not playing finals, the Wildcard gig didn't exist 9 months ago.

In that regard it can't be a "false dawn" because technically we haven't really improved ladder position from 2025, unless you think going from 11th to 10th is an improvement. Despite appearing better on form at this moment, we haven't improved just yet, the ladder has degraded!

If we were 6th or 7th, that might be a false dawn.

If we win both the next and some other results go our way, we can finish 8th and get a week off. That would make many happy.

You can call it whatever you like.
We now have a final ten.
Once the H&A season finishes so do a number of sides.
Top 10 go on.
