Not really that big on my playlist but Dolly Parton was an absolute star of country music as well as a decent actor, canny businesswoman and compassionate philanthropist.

In her own words, “I'm not offended by all the dumb blonde jokes because I know I'm not dumb - and I'm not blonde either.”

You would struggle to find a bad word anyone said about her and considering the times we live in that is very rare and speaks volumes of the women.

Very talented and admired by all.

She definitely made the world a better place. Hopefully there are some that can replicate her demeanour, attitude & philanthropy. There won't be many that can duplicate her music ~3k (not all recorded) songs & 50ish albums.

I’m watching “9 to 5” in remembrance of Dolly.

I don’t think I’ve ever watched it before and it’s quite enjoyable, if only for showing how far we’ve come in terms of technology and attitudes.
