Robert Heatley Stand / Re: Round 9 Green Shoot of the Week
We need to get a strong   forward in the Cameron ,Lynch,Patton, Daniher ,Brown    mould then watch the likes of Silvagni ,Fisher ,stand tall and flourish .Casboult as much as i like him is a one trick pony, maybe they are all ready  at Carlton ie Harry and Kerr I wonder

The major problem against Freo ,we had 2 players injured ,our forward line apart from Casboult was young and not strong enough. We  need more  strong bodies around the ball .Apart From Cripps there is noone.
Maybe Kerridge should have played ,and maybe Jones should have played .Hindsight is a wonderful thing. We need time for their bodies to develop,it takes a few  pre seasons.I can see a light at the end of the tunnel

Looks like Polson and Phillips in for Kreuzer and Thomas, who are both sore.

All the Thomas haters have got their wish. Congratulations to Polson wonderful news ,give it your best shot . Kreuzer is out unfortunately ,Phillips back in ,I am sure he will be adequate as a ruckman but is  he fit enough .I suppose  we have no choice as  Gorringe also injured.

Robert Heatley Stand / Re: 2017 Round 3 : In Game Thread - Carlton vs Essendon
Nah they are blessed this year so I'm refusing to attend any CheatsFC games, home or away.

By the end of the season "Free Kick Hawthorn" will become "Premiership CheatsFC"

Until the fans of the other 17 clubs get serious and stay away from CheatsFC games, nothing will ever be put right. Bums on seats and TV ratings, or the lack of them is the only thing AFL will take notice of, it's that simple.
LP there are 2 many Cheats FC  lovers in the media ,the way they were treated when they played their first game back  you would thogh  they were coming back from combat.I see your point, but I will be there cheering on the boys like I always do

Lewis has always been a sniper  >:(hate the prick he is the same as the dirty  wonderboy Hodge.
Lewis honestly thought he would get off as he has  been doing the same  thing for years ask Todd Goldstein.I commend Carlton for shoving it up Melbourne my only disappointment they both didnt get more weeks .Lewis is  the new Milburn ,bring it on I wont forget .

Thought it was incredibly poor by AFL360 last night. Went easy on Lewis because he is a regular guest.  Tore shreds off others.

Nearly as bad as old mate Lloydy going to water on the other show when asked to talk about the Freo list... we all know who the list manager is.
When are you going to learn they will never criticise their work colleagues or siblings.Robbo wets himself when he sees Lewis

Blah-Blah Bar / Re: US Presidential Election 2016
If the media owners still had power he wouldn't be President, he has been overtly anti-the-established-media from the start of his campaign. The media thought they could build up their ratings using his sensationalism, then tear him down at the appropriate time, instead as the finish line approached he kicked them in the balls and crossed the line first!

Social media is undermining the influence of the established media and at the moment they are powerless to do anything about it, their revenue streams have shrunk massively. Unless of course they can get control of the likes of Facebook, Google and Twitter.

The Mainstream scoffed at the likes of Michael Moore, among many others, telling them what was happening in the back blocks. They refused to believe that California and Washington would bow down to the Midland states, that Bernie Sanders would have won, and that Trump resonates with the disenchanted everywhere.

I watched The Project last night, the likes of Waleed Aly and Carrie Bickmore pondering how can it be. They think that they speak for Joe Average, that they are part of the mainstream, they don't get that they are viewed as elite! Yet I wonder if they have ever asked, "Do you know who I am?" This sort of incredible foolishness is rife through the media, people that think they are one with the crew in the front bar!

The local equivalents of Michael Moore have been warning for some time that if our current parliament and media don't get their sh1te in order we will see the very same result next election, with the far right parties like Family First and The Hanson United Australia Party being the beneficiaries.

I find it ironic that the likes of Bolt are painting this as a result of the Left's arrogance, while the Left commentary claims it's the rise of the Extremist Right. Of course they are both to blame, as will be the case here in Australia, because they have become so similar and so disconnected from Joe Average, especially in the way they pander to minorities.
I am surprised a person as clever as you would watch that garbage The Project  .Mr Aly thinks he speaks for all of Australia, not me sorry ,havent watched it since he has been on

Robert Heatley Stand / Re: Rd 12: Post Game Purgatory: Carlton vs St. Kilda
We were not good enough .We got smashed in the ,midfield, backline and forward .The side was much to slow and to predictable.Walker,Gorringe,Everitt,White and Armfield  were poor to terrible. What a pity really the crowd was pro CARLTON ( at least 60%) but we had nothing cheer about.Bolton was outcoached ,first time this year.I am not devastated even though I really  loathe the AINTS .6 wins before the break is way above my expectation.Chin up all it is not in the world
