I think it's a badly flawed arrangement by the AFL, or by us, badly managed

I have a fundamental problem with reward for little return where the bottom teams are compelled to pay a level similar to those at the top

Yes, there's a lot more to do with it than that, but a solid review is warranted

Some players used to wear two in the wet.  LS inner and SS outer.  I remember a filthy soaking wet muddy day at Princes Park and at the start of the second half, every player had fresh jumpers.  Long sleeves were a definite advantage in the wet.  When we went wool (1985 IIRC) they were even better

As he should.  His father was a great guy and I chatted with Justin (carlton days) often.  Dunno what changed him into an absolute menace he now is, but he must live with that.  Got zero tolerance for that horrific abuse

Where does the authority of the tribunal begin and end if the AFL can direct them to review until such time as they are satisfied.

Pretty disgusting to apply a standard to all incidents such as these when we all know the circumstances were entirely different between the four players in question.

Slightly off topic, but who was that umpire who reported Justin Murphy for swearing at an abusive spectator at Princes Park?

They both have captaincy written into their DNA.  Murphy is done.  Cripps should be given the nod now, that's just how good he is.  Reminds me a lot of Johnston
