IMO, anyone, and I mean anyone, is an improvement on the prior f#$%tard POTUS and administration. Same can be said here in Australia.

Suffice to say I never thought that, but he should serve the people who voted him in. Neither the GOP nor the Democrats have any intention of doing that. Neither party is reformable.

Even if we assume you are correct, I doubt claiming that vomit as an upgrade on a turd is much of a viable debating position.

I get the desire of the US citizens wanting more, after all they live in a society built on avarice, but Trump removing funding for institutions like the WHO effectively helps nobody in the USA and actually increases global excess deaths, many of them children.

For example the immediate impact is cessation of free treatment for children in countries like Indonesia, infants and pre-schoolers now have to pay US$100 for a doctors visit and US$60 for just four antibiotic tablets, before children got this free under US funding. That change doesn't help a single American, but it does help America's enemies. US$100 might not sound much to you, but for most rural and regional Indonesians it's about 2 to 3 weeks wages, US$60 a week is quite common for the average unskilled factory worker, and the average is not the Median or the Mode but the Mean. That figure being the Mean indicates that 50% of the population will be below that figure, and the middle income wage(Median) and the Mode(Most Common) are both likely to be far far lower, typically just 60% or less of the Median in a Western population, possibly even worse in a developing economy. This is hard math, not debateable at all, except in proving ones ignorance of maths and statistics.

We've obviously got some wildly different opinions on Trump.

For some folks he's the best thing since sliced bread.
Other's have a more neutral opinion..."He's better/worse than what came before"
For others just the sight of him triggers them...and they can see no good in him at all.
It's a real 'hate'.

Here's a question for non Trump folk.
What is it we 'hate' about Trump.
Is it the behaviour or the person?

The person I'm indifferent to, the behaviour of RedTrump is abhorrent, his words are mostly blatant lies, his actions do not match his words, some seem to think RedTrump's lies are OK because everybody knows they are lies. It's like the more lies he tells the less important they become.

RedTrump claimed he had bigger rallies than MLK, and he was serious about it!

RedTrump incited a riot that killed somebody, stating publicly, blatantly, that he would march to the capitol side by side with his peers / supporters, then he hid down the back behind secret service agents before clearing out when the violence began. His own party begged him to call and end to it and he refused, he basically had a child like tantrum.

RedTrump took the piss out of Jimmy Carter, the President of the USA who walked down the dirt roads of Palestine surrounded by thousands and thousands of people, and Carter did so with little more than a couple of foot guards.

@Lods RedTrump complained publicly that he hadn't been given a Nobel Peace Prize, so they've just nominated him, for what can you explain?

Today RedTrump issued an Executive Declaration thanking himself for services to women.

I don't hate him, but he is clearly a low brow human and deserves the criticism. His history in politics, business and personal life attest to that. I just heard Ralph Nader say that Trump's biggest enemy is Trump, and that he will self destruct because he knows no boundaries. Says that if he continues on the same reckless manner he will be impeached by the US Senate in the coming months, especially if his popularity / approval rating continue to slide.

I just think there is a distinction.
I think it's probably a good idea to recognise it.
It's the 'behaviour' not the 'person'.
If it's just the sight of him that sets the blood to boiling then that can sometimes cloud the judgement.
Some of his decisions and orders are appaling
Some are just ridiculous
Some are comical.
I don't hate Trump...I'm not a fan of his decision making ;)

How about the Canadians taking American alcohol off the shelves? 

Depending on the jurisdiction, it’s either all American alcohol or alcohol manufactured in Republican states.

And then there’s the cessation of power supplies and the people-inspired boycott of all American goods and travel south of the border.

“Mr Decisive” doesn’t know whether he’s Arthur or Martha with his on again, off again tariff announcements.  Has there ever been a president with such skill at backflipping? 

A quarter of a million Canadians have signed a petition calling on the government to strip the Muskrat of his Canadian citizenship.  Sadly, that can’t happen without legislative change … but you never know.

As the price of eggs continues to climb - Americans are smuggling eggs in from Mexico -
and the stock market tanks, the number of protestors continues to grow, despite Aurangzeb trying to ban protests. 

This has all the hallmarks of a classic clusterfeck and the cove was only sworn in less than two months ago 🙄

Aus Stock market feeling the effects of Trump with his Tariff wars and is mate Musk(DOGE) wanting to cut 1 Trillion in Federal spending and has been smashed down by 5%, clearly investors unimpressed or worried by the future outcomes.
One trillion has to come from one or both of two areas, discretionary spending or mandatory spending, the latter has to be spent by law on areas like Social Security etc, Healthcare. etc,  Discretionary spending is on items like Defense, Transportation, Education etc. Now I cant see Defense taking a hit given Trump said he will build a missile defense shield around the USA and the USA also has a national debt of around 900 billion a year that has to be paid. The Discretionary money is only about 25 % of the Budget so Im struggling to see how all the money will come from that area so the Mandatory spending will also have to take a hit which I presume means they would have to make changes through the Congress and I cant see how its all going to be approved, add up and be able to to run the country.

Trump the person is an arrogant buffoon who is easy to poke fun at.

Trump the president is an arrogant buffoon who can hurt 8 billion people.....and help about 0.001% of them.....and in reality, they are the ones that need the least amount of help - rich white guys.

To be clear, I couldn't give a flying you know what about the US, I know SFA about the joint compared to many on here. I read this thread more to learn something. I'm not a Trump "booster".
 I am merely pointing out the f-wit in charge of the US before Trump was a liability IMO and draw comparisons to our great country and the buffoons running it (or should I say farking it up). I am utterly sick to death of youth crime and violence on the streets and in our homes. The Govs at fed and state level are dead set asleep at the wheel, zero is being done about. Fark the Ukraine, fark Gaza, fark China, fark everyone, sort out our crap here for Gods sake, NOW!!!! People are struggling to put food on the table and are getting beaten up and robbed in their homes and it just should not be happening. Nuffs enuff. Sorry for the rant, Ive had a gut full.

Great post and spot on!  i would add in p1ss weak sentencing and the ease serious offenders get bail as 2 reasons our state is fast becoming over run by criminals.
