The next brilliant move by Aurangzeb is to declare that 09 Feb is “Gulf of America Day” and is bigger than the Super Bowl.  Is it any wonder that he was booed at the Super Bowl, cracked the sads and went home?  Of course, he was also unhappy that the NFL is sticking with its Diversity, Equity and Inclusion program.

What a pathetic excuse for a human being.

I'm confused as i thought you only dealt with clear unbiased facts.  Just a few links when you type in super bowl trump but there is countless reports all along the same lines.

https://www.newsweek.com/was-donald-trump-booed-super-bowl-2028624

https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/world/us/donald-trump-gets-a-cheer-as-first-us-president-to-attend-super-bowl-taylor-swift-gets-booed/articleshow/118101974.cms

https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2025/feb/9/trump-draws-thunderous-cheers-super-bowl-crowd/

99% of the media are saying the same thing but let me guess all those sources are pro MAGA arent they  ::)  :-[

So the booing that was clearly audible on the footage of Aurangzeb at the Superbowl was canned booing added by Fox ... give it a break.

And, you can always fact check with Snopes:

"However, various videos captured by attendees and reporting from journalists confirmed that Trump received both boos and cheers from the crowd. It's very likely that people in different sections of the stadium reacted differently to seeing Trump, and some areas of the stadium booed while others cheered."

Your really hard to try and find what you want to hear!! The majority of yanks love the bloke - spin it any way you want but compared to the previous useless mob in power you can't blame them as the bar was set very low.

I wouldn't be putting my faith in any media sources at the moment without checking the bias meter
They're all running around like chooks with their heads cut off.
And that goes for both sides of the spectrum.

This is not only a problem in the USA......

Does anyone remember when newspapers and the like used to actually report news, as opposed to providing spin-laden opinions of how the news should be interpreted?

They've all gotten into the gutter with the digital world who happily report any form of garbage provided it matches the required narrative.

I wonder if Donald has managed to deport the dog-eating Haitians yet?

Beam me up, Scotty, and take me to Vulcan for the next 4 years......

Is it newspapers getting into the gutter?  Or is it a return to their propaganda machine roots ALA middle ages when literacy levels were low?

They have been nothing but propaganda pushers since the middle ages, and its best everyone looks at all media through that lens, before they read an article and take it at face value.

Told to only follow credible sources so your getting accurate facts - that is of course until they don't suit the narrative then all media are liars and don't believe anything you read cause its all corrupt

“Love the bloke”?  You’re having a laugh!

Aurangzeb got 77.3M votes.

Harris got 75M votes.

Only 59% of the eligible population voted.

Biden got 81.2M votes in 2020.

Opinion polls may include those with no intention of voting and ‘approval’ or ‘favourable’ is a long way from ‘love’ but consider the following polls:

The Economist -
Approve 46%, Disapprove 48%
Favourable 46%, Unfavourable 52%

Morning Consult -
Favourable 47%, Unfavourable 50%

And from the Economist/YouGov:

“Trump's popularity has particularly dropped among younger Americans. Two weeks ago, 50% of adults under 30 had a favorable opinion of Trump, while 46% had an unfavorable opinion; today, 39% have a favorable opinion and 57% have an unfavorable opinion.

Trump's favorability among adults aged 30 to 44 has also fallen, from 45% favorable / 51% unfavorable to 42% favorable / 55% unfavorable”

That’s not “love”!

Stop reading left wing woke crap mate - they also told you Dan did a great job as well

And the thing with Biden's vote is that he got 51% of the vote to Aurangzeb's 47%.  This time round, Aurangzeb just got to 50%.  Harris got 48% and you have to admit that she wasn't the best choice to run for president.

You do know that you don't have to resort to partisan sources?  Political polling is an even bigger industry in the USA than it is here and many pollsters rely on their objectivity and impartiality to maintain their market share.

The Economist is neither left or right wing but is staunchly independent and considers itself to be the "radical centre".  It is in favour of free enterprise, deregulation and privatisation but also supports gay marriage, legalising drugs and doesn't like monarchy.  It supported Thatcher, Reagan and Obama and you couldn't get more even-handed and reliable polls.

I'm not sure why you keep referring to Andrews in a thread about the narcissistic, senile, convicted felon that's sharing the presidency with the Muskrat. However, unless my memory fails me, didn't Andrews get re-elected at the last election?

Polls at this stage are probably a bit dodgy.
I wouldn't put much stock in them.
There's plenty of activity going on and folks are reacting to the 'immediate' rather than seeing how things develop.

Yes, if you look into what Mother Theresa really got up to, she and Aurangzeb aren’t too far apart and they make poor old Dan look like a genuine saint.

You may wish to find out what “woke” really means before you try using it as an insult.  The fascist usage is simply an attempt to undermine 70 years of the American civil rights movement.

On the contrary Shawny, I’m in control of the plot.

The only thing that puzzles me is how any Australian, with the benefits of our education system and exposure to our version of democracy, can’t see the threat that Aurangzeb poses to the economy and world peace.  There’s a reason why that, with the exception of Russia, China, North Korea, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Israel, and our pathetic government, every nation believes that the current administration will make things worse.

For curiosity’s sake, what do you think of Aurangzeb’s decision to impose tariffs on Australian imports, despite the USA enjoying a trade surplus?  Do you subscribe to Aurangzeb’s belief that the exporter pays the tariff or do you go with all of the economists and trade experts who know that importers pay the tariffs?

Consider Ford’s CEO Jim Farley calling Aurangzeb’s proposal to impose tariffs a disaster for American companies doing business around the world.  Do you think that Farley knows what he’s doing?

And then there’s the unelected Muskrat making millions from his unfettered control over the public purse.

That’s it from me; it’s like trying to have a sensible discussion about evolution with a committed creationist.

Obviously i don't like or agree with any tariff on us nor do i like his talk about taking over Gaza but the difference between me and you is I accept and answer the questions when asked hard questions and don't try and spin it around or deflect it worrying i might lose face. i dont care and say it as i see it.

i also think he is very much liked and think he is the most honest straight in your face leader there is committed to making America great again and the opposite of a war monger yet there are those far left wingers who despise him and love to try and scare us all into believing world war 3 is coming because of Trump

No leader is perfect and its ok to say most of his policys i agree with and some i dont.

Goodnight sir 😴
