Who complains makes a difference.Perhaps karma got even with Max for bleating about Piastri slowing, but it doesn't help McLaren who now have two drivers head to head, but it helps Red Bull to have Piastri and Norris squabbling.btw., IN case somebody thinks it's spitting chips for Piastri, he was basically the clear best driver on the day, passing Verstappen, maintaining and growing a gap in front. Yes, it was harsh, but he 100% did it and tried to cover it up.Working against him was the fact McLaren have been poking fun at Verstappen being on 11 points knowing 1 more could get him penalised for a race. They have said they will put him in a position to make a call on a 50-50 that could mean he'd lose his last remaining point and a race as a result.So yes, i feel for Piastri.However, It was dangerous, it has happened plenty of times before and technically the rules were right.It worked out 'good enough' anyway as verstappen spun a few corners later and all it meant was Norris got a win instead of 2nd place and vice versa.Piastri is performing better than Lando. Is better at overtaking than Lando. Handles pressure better than Lando.Ultimately should win the championship over Lando we well. Quote Selected

Max was asking too much to remain at RB. and Horner told Jos Verstappen as much. But Jos is a friend of the RB Executive had his revenge, and now it looks like Max will get his way, the ultimate spoilt child, despite also being a very good driver in a car exclusively configured to his preference.In F1, money talks, always has and always will.I think it's a mistake, RB have now kyboshed the two people who could actually technically deliver on Max's requests, Newey and Horner.I won't be surprised to hear that Max will get a big deal, and yet still be gone from RB within a season or two, they won't be able to deliver, it will break the team, and he'll blame everyone else for the lack of success. Ignoring what they list as their "home track", the UK based teams basically live and work within a 10km radius of each other, Ferrari is a huge change of venue and an even bigger change in culture. Re: Formula 1 Reply #263 – July 10, 2025, 04:40:23 pm Verstappen (both younger and older) are going to, if they haven't already, ruined Red Bull Racing.Horner and the verstappens have a beef that gets taken above Horners head and gets the desired result......that will come back to bite them.Horner SHOULD make the switch to Ferrari as has been rumoured for a while and be able to turn that team around.I'm sure Lawrence Stroll will be having a chat with Horner as well.....although potential issues with Newey may stop that before it starts.In any event, if it wasn't Neweys departure, this will signal the end for Red Bull as the disappear into obscurity.Next announcement we hear from them could be Jos taking up the seat in the second red bull Quote Selected
