We all get prostate exams thanks to our footy club.  At least its felt like that for the last 20 years more often than not...

I'm not sure its consensual either.
We've been f***ed over for years without our consent....probably should put the club on r*pe charges!

The PSA blood test is 100000% more effective than old cucumber fingers.  An recent advances in prostate imaging have been a game changer.

I have an old school doctor and he says the PSA is important but only tells half the story and he still recommends the physical exam as well to provide a full prostrate check.

I hate the physical one and a lot of my friends say what you did that the PSA is all thats needed so i always wonder do i need it.

I trust my doctor but he is a bit stubborn and getting a worse on certain things.

Mine was the same but now just does the PSA, but he does it every 12 months rather than every 2 years which is the new Government recommendation.

It was good to read that AFL Vic has dropped the investigation into gender bias and discrimination. From what I can tell this was a case based on hearsay, he said, she said, or they said, them said, whatever your bent might be.

What a colossal waste of time and probably money, although I have no idea what it cost to investigate, I bet some legal eagle sent some rather heavy invoices. This happening when many regional and suburban clubs are struggling to survive every wasted dollar counts double.

The current generation needs to get some balance and perspective, they think digitally prostituting yourself on TV for a show like MAFS makes great entertainment and is smart marketing / branding, but they take offense at an opponent winding them up on the field of combat.

As an aside, I've noticed there is a bit of push back happening across the AFLW as well, with some blaming a "pigs at the trough" attitude for crippling the development of the competition. It's all become rather nasty, but if you have followed AFLW closely you won't be surprised to hear now players are finger pointing at those who reaped benefits but failed to sow any seeds. Those of us genuinely interested in seeing the competition develop, have been warning for some time that wage growth vastly exceeds earning capability.

^^

I heard a very poignant response to some of these matters recently.

As men we are taught how to treat a woman but never taught what to expect from a woman.

Women are taught what to expect from a man, but never how to treat one.

The end result is some of this "equality outrage" we see but realistically its just replacing Misogyny for Misandry.

Ultimately we all pay for the sins of the few, who reap the rewards.

Funny, I would have thought that treating any other human being with respect would be the first and foremost port of call, regardless of gender. And from there treatment of the other would be self evident. As for expectations... minefield!

Is there a problem when we use terms like respect, because what is respect and does it vary between specific individuals?

In the AFLW world at the moment, it seems those who feel they have been disrespected are being accused of being disrespectful! :o

Maybe too many eggshells have made it impossible to navigate a safe path.

On a separate issue;

As much as I hate Kyle Sandilands, if he's fundamentally been terminated for calling out someone's destructive obsession with charlatan practises it's a disgrace, what is the world coming to?
