Re: God help me - the Test Cricket thread Reply #1549 – December 30, 2024, 03:33:50 pm Bowling Head because we have no additional seamer, Starc winged - second test in a row we're trying to win down a seamer. Short turn around... You got it very, very wrong didn't you George. Quote Selected

Re: God help me - the Test Cricket thread Reply #1554 – December 30, 2024, 05:45:58 pm Spin to win... Pant commits suicide vs. Head and they crumble. I'll give him this - Marshs' fielding has been exemplary - he made that catc at wide mid on off Pant look easy. Kudos to his catching. Quote Selected 1 Likes

Re: God help me - the Test Cricket thread Reply #1556 – December 30, 2024, 06:04:45 pm The media's unconscionable behaviour regarding the DRS, the way it beats up doubt over clear dismissals, is a blight on the broadcast of the sport. Keep in mind, those statements aren't just broadcast live, they are recorded and repeatable in posterity. If there is any controversy regarding Jaiswal's wicket, it's how the main umpire actually didn't call it out! Re: God help me - the Test Cricket thread Reply #1557 – December 30, 2024, 06:09:59 pm Sharma wont be playing or skippering in Sydney imo, way out of form with the bat and his work as captain was terribleincluding his carry on when young Jaiswal dropped a couple of catches. You never lose it when a player drops a catch especially a young one who is one of your best and both Sharma and Kohli need to be shown the door.Id drop Pant too who cant be bothered with test cricket, his dismissals have all been self induced and he is clearly a talented player but since becoming the highest paid IPL player he just doesnt care about anything else and to use ProfE's terminology is taking the piss with his careless efforts and Id be be playing Jurel ahead of him if I was the Indian hierarchy.Thought Cummins played his best test for a while now and was excellent with both bat and ball and Boland again proving he is one unlucky player not to be playing more test cricket.Hope we finish India off in Sydney and Kohli gets the send off he deserves after his actions and the weak response from the match referee, hope Sam Konstas makes a hundred on his home pitch and lets Virat know all about it...
