Re: AFL Rd 11 2025 Pre Game Prognostications Carlton vs GWS Reply #15 – May 19, 2025, 03:29:05 pm The forward line is a dogs breakfast...it's too crowded. There's no need for all of the small forwards and we'd be better served giving them more time in the middle or dropping them and bringing up someone like Billy Wilson (we need to have a good look at the higher level, and he's had some good patches in VFL games). Ben Camporeale's disposal remains a concern, but he has gone ahead of Lucas and should probably get a taste, maybe as a sub. Quote Selected

Agree that the forward line is a dog's breakfast, but so is the delivery into the forward 50 arc. System? Personnel? Both? I'd definitely remove Motlop and Evans to be replaced by Fogary and Williams. With Acres to replace Boyd. Quote Selected

I think our main hope is TDK dominating Briggs who is a solid ruckman but nothing brilliant. Quote Selected

This is a direct cut and paste of a post I submitted from the Sydney Pre Game thread; The problem is we've been in these positions before and failed miserably to such an extent where we actually assist the opposition in playing themselves into form. I have no confidence in any game this year.Until the cycle is broken this will continue to occur Quote Selected 1 Likes
