Another Thursday night game, so I won't be there.

I don't appreciate mid-week games at all. The less of them we have, the better.

It's sometimes funny what a win will do.
You get a kick out of them and it's a feeling you want to repeat.
On form this year Hawthorn will be clear favourites, and as tonyo says "They have more to play for"
But football is full of upsets and you never know.

I agree although, after this season, it seems reasonable to assume that we won't be scheduled for so many prime-time games next year.

I wrote in the last survey that if next season has the same amount of Thursday games I will give up my membership as there is no point.
They tried to call me and left a voice message because I didn't answer as it came up as spam.

Fixturing is largely an AFL though isn't it? We request stuff but they ultimately decide. As RR said, after this year we will be banished from prime time.

Don't expect Thursday night footy to go anywhere.

There are enough public holidays on a Friday for it to be a thing.

When the competition expands again they'll need the timeslot.

As best as i can tell, there is only one on a friday - Good Friday.

You might get ANZAC days once every 7 years. Anything else?

Did Lemmey play the last quarter and a bit in the VFL

I didn't start watching until then and don't recall seeing him at all.

If he didn't, he's probably going to play Thursday.

The likes of Gunston, Ginnivan and the Wiz will rip us a new one. Maybe Saad could stay within 5 metres of his man this week, that might help.

I like watching on TV, I just can't attend. Now I'm not going to pay over $1500 a year for my family to be members if I can't attend most of the games.

Downgrade your membership but stay a member so the clock keeps ticking.
