Aurangzeb is not a right winger. He has no ideology.  He is a transactionalist whose only motivation is personal gain.  Many of his most strident opponents are hard right GOP figures like McConnell and the Cheneys.

He has never given a straight answer to any question in his life.  Well, perhaps bragging about grabbing women on the pussy was honest.

The real question that remains to be answered is when was “America” great?  For a start, America is a continent of 35 countries.  Even if we focus on USA, when exactly was it great?

Aurangzeb is a draft dodging coward who will never stand up to the hard men of world politics.  He has bent over for Netanyahu already in this term and trying to exclude Zelenskyy from peace talks with Russia gives a pretty good idea of what he wants to achieve in Ukraine.

Of course, his bizarre proclamations about Greenland, Panama and Canada just give comfort to Putin, Xi and Kim.  We may not see WW3 under Aurangzeb’s watch, but we will see a loss of Western influence and more expansionist activity from China and Russia.

Appeasing the USA’s traditional rivals while p1ssing off its traditional allies is clearly the way to go … if your sole motivation is feathering your nest and repaying your benefactors.

And then there’s the small matter of the Nazi co-president and the complete dismissal of multiple conflicts of interest.  While it’s not certain whether the Muskrat’s son actually said, "I want you to shush your mouth,” you can understand why a four year old would say that.

1940s USA was isolationist, segregated and firmly committed to staying out of the conflict until Pearl Harbour.  It’s military might and manufacturing industry was certainly very handy from Dec 1941.

Interestingly, the WW2 Tuskegee airmen are in the news again but for the wrong reasons.  You can’t talk about how a group of African-American pilots overcame racist opposition to become one of the finest United States fighter groups because it’s pro Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

i was referring to myself not trump in terms of answering questions and admitting that i dont like everything about him but you continue on rambling on with more nonsense replying to something i never said.

The USA were happy to stay out of the war while it suited them and they could sell truck parts and other items to the Germans and their big companies who were embedded in Germany still continued to get their profits ie Ford.. Werke and SAF (Ford's subsidiaries in Germany and France, respectively) produced military vehicles and other equipment for Nazi Germany's war effort. Some of Ford's operations in Germany at the time were run using forced labor.
Doesnt matter who is running America if there is a dollar to be made they are happy to leave their morals and principles at the door and collect the money from both sides and play the field. Henry Ford was pro Hitler, no fan of the Jews and a lot of American companies operating out of Germany had fascist inclinations.
They will sell Zelesnky down the Danube if Putin can make it worth their while and its unfortunate we have to rely on the USA for military cover and in turn support their aims as they are no better than Putin or Xi and would sell us out too if it came to saving their own necks.

And I simply responded to your post by pointing out how dishonest the man is.  In fact, he is a pathological liar as asserted by Republicans and Democrats alike ... but let's get a professional opinion:

That may be true of folks who were in it for a buck.

Sadly Trump seems more a Chamberlain rather than a Roosevelt.

While there was understandably not a great feeling of wanting to get directly involved in the early stages by 1940 and into early 1941 public support for the allies grew.

While not advocating a 'troops on the ground' situation the methods of supporting the allies we're clearly outlined and not too different to much of the support Ukraine has asked for and received.

Roosevelt was very keen to get involved but couldn’t override Congress and its isolationists and pro-Nazi sympathisers.  The Democrats in the 1940s were hand in glove with the KKK and were enraptured with Adolph.  Joseph Kennedy was forced to resign as ambassador to the UK because of his support for Germany.  That’s why simplistic left wing - right wing perceptions of US politics are way off the mark; despite the current transactional incumbent, the GOP has generally been the progressive party - as my Republican mates are always keen to point out.

Apart from Lend-Lease and the provision of essential supplies, Roosevelt had the USN protecting US merchant ships in the trans-Atlantic convoys. 

Of course, the Nazi sympathisers had to pull their heads in after Pearl Harbour.

In the modern era the demise of the 4th Estate has been a big driver of the revival of disinformation and misinformation.

Unfortunately, as Australians, we get to share a lot of the blame, because Rupert Murdoch is ours and he drove syndication changes that diminished accountability and reduced quality.

As a guess I'd say more than 80% of modern unverified content comes from unqualified and uninformed bloggers, and as each day passes more of the remainder comes from AI which is trained on the content created by the bloggers. It's a vicious feedback cycle.

Aurangzeb has just given a press conference during which he appeared to use talking points provided by the Kremlin including blaming Ukraine for starting the war  ::)

If you elect a clown, you get a circus ... but that's little comfort to Ukraine.
