They are going to use Hoff's(Hazelwood) demise as an excuse to bring in a NSW batsmen, you can see it coming a mile away!

NSW, famous for cricket mafia and beach turds!

I'm really disappointed that our batters played the way they did on the last day: granted that they were after quick runs, but they basically committed suicide. Not only did it inflate the Indian bowlers' figures and deflate our averages, but it gave the Indians some confidence when we really needed to knock it out of them.

Both openers needed runs and neither had a chance to get any. Smith and Labuschagne were not dissimilar, as they haven't been in the runs in recent times.

Our bowling: losing Hazelwood as we did showed the issues with having 'the Bison' as an allrounder. He is a hundred or a duck man, (with scores usually closer to the duck) and he doesn't bowl enough. Granted, he is probably playing because Cameron Green isn't, but the issue remains. Green probably wasn't bowling as often as he should have been and his batting is still a work in progress (it was progressing nicely).
I would like to have had Michael Neser available to bowl, as he is a top bowler (and a decent tail ender - not quite an allrounder, but closer than most). However, he is also injured at the moment.
The only thing with Boland is his age: he should have been playing international cricket a long time ago. He has his limitations, but he is a good workhorse.
Of the 'allrounders' going around, Beau Webster is probably the one that stands out. His bowling has come on a lot on recent years. He still bowls in the 120's, not the 140's, but it isn't crap and he did get wickets against the Indians earlier in the series. His batting is probably more reliable than most as well. I'd still play Neser in front of him, but ...

Neser is injured, but enough BS and lies- Marsh can't or won't bowl, for reasons we aren't being told.  His refusal to do so has unbalanced the side, and coupled with his unreliable batting the decision to promote Webster looks more than justified.

Given the decision to axe McSweeney (a scapegoat if I've ever seen one) we need to find two openers because Khawaja is finished.  Yep George, F-i-n-i-s-h-e-d, for those selectors lacking pragmatism.

There is quite a bit of irony in watching some of my friends who are cricket fans and also Trump supporters, I hear them bemoaning the blatantly self-serving and abominably biased behaviour of CA and NSW Cricket, and I think ......................

I think that we may have found a player 🙏

And hasn’t he taken the pressure off Khawaja?

Kohli has to be in trouble for intentionally making contact with Konstas.

Surely Kohli knows that the cameras pick up everything … or does he expect the IPL/BCCI to exert enough pressure to get him off with a slap on the wrist with a wet tram ticket?

It'll only be a fine anyway, he's not short of a quid! ;)

I hope the ICA has a crack at the captain for slow over rates, I realise it's hot but the Indians are basically walking back to position after fielding the pill mid-over!

What a surprise, graded as a level one offence
Do that at local cricket you're looking at six weeks plus a lengthy appointment at the dentist on Monday morning.
