This is the best for the year, but the size shows that our players weren't dominant for 4 quarters.[6] Sam Walsh and Jacob Weitering were both BOG's this round with 175 votes. They were followed by Mitch McGovern with 163 and Elijah Hollands with 113. [7] Three player managed votes from everyone this week, Walsh, McGovern and Weitering. Elijah Hollands missed from 1.[8] The distribution of votes this week suggested that we had a rounded performance across the board; everyone fell off after half time.[9] If there was a positive from this disaster, it was the significant contribution from our youngsters. Considering that the rating was our 2nd best for the year just shows how dissatisfied we've become.[3] 17 players managed a mention again this week. Clearly, almost everyone of doing something, enough to get noticed, just not enough to get us over the line. [4] The average vote this week was 24, which is also our 2nd best for the year. Scores are around 30 when we win, so read into that what you will.[5] For the second week in a row 4 players managed 100 votes or more. But... [6] Sam Walsh was BOG for the 3rd time this season with 246 votes. He was followed by Pittonet, Cripps and Haynes.[7] Two players managed votes from everyone this week, Cripps and Walsh. Pittonet missed from one voter.[8] It was hard to determine a trend among the vote getters this week, as so many of our players did something. However, 3 of our midfield players were among our top 4, so I'll say that our mids were our best division.[9] The Hollands brothers and Matt Carroll were probably our most effective youngsters on the night.
