Do they seriously think Trump will save them ? Are they even aware ? Do they even care ?

No one knows what Trump will do but the fact is the as you rightly list the last 4 years have been a disaster and why they had no other option but to remove the current administration. Just shows how much the Dems talk crap with what they will do if re-elected but the proof is they had 4 years in office and did nothing.

Trump may say some out there things and doesn't have the etiquette some do but he is a businessman and many including me think he is their best shot to right the wrongs. Reality is the folks cant afford and don't want another 4 years of what they had!  

Unlike Victoria we had a inept Government that has driven us to the ground and what did we do - vote the same mob back in.

The issues go back more than 4 years. Whilst I agree that the world was better when Trump was President, some on here are imputing that Trump was an active agent in all this, and that he possesses some deft diplomatic skills, business acumen, tact etc., when nothing could be further from the truth. He landed on his ar$e the first time, and there should not have been a second time if civil and government institutions in the US actually worked.

IMO disliking the Dems is understandable. Liking Trump, most definitely is not.

It might be cold comfort but Aurangzeb will be a lame duck president from day 1.  GOP will be well and truly focused on the next nomination and wresting control back from MAGA.  JD Vance will be hoping for a fast track to the top job.

It seems that GOP will have a small majority in the Senate - and voting on party lines isn't really a thing - while the Dems will have the numbers in the House.

More money spent by the Democrats on the election , ignored the economy, ignored border control and relied too much on attacking Trumps character.
Been a complete campaign debacle and got flogged by someone who had no real chance of winning if the right strategies were adopted. If Dutton and Albo are watching they should learn from the Democrats failings and look after the little man and his family doing it tough with basics of surviving.

Spot on, ripper pick-up, EB1. Thus far, Dem numbers who voted last time (2020) are down almost 20 million! Yep, poor Dem turnout sure did help the Orange One... whose numbers are also down but only about 3 million on last time. Republicans basically held, Democrats fell in a very big hole.

Im predicting Trump will reel back his Tariff threats to help his little mate Elon who relies on China to keep the money rolling in. Xi gave him the money to build his Gigafactory in Shanghai and in return he did a little bit of PR on how Taiwan is part of China proper as well as letting the Chinese install their Baidu Traffic software in his EV's...
